Especially with view on increased demands regarding secure software it becomes mandatory just to publish what can be handled completely. Therefore we focussed on using Technology from Microsoft.

 

This decision was forced by our collected knowledge and experience in this technology, primarily - experience was greater here than in other areas, simply. Complexity of modern software - plus finesse of modern criminals in abusing systems - prevent a fundamental understanding and serving of several, different systems. We are convinced creating and offering our customers performant and more over secure software based on Microsoft Technolgy.

For Windows Applications we use:

 

 

Developing Windows Services, Command Line Applications and Windows Forms Based Applications is common practice and usually served as .NET Application using .NET C#.

Our Web Applications, i.e. VNet Webservices 2.0.0, use Web 2.0 technics - often handcrafted rather than clicked together.

 

VNet Webservices 2.0.0 offers SOAP Links for authorised partners.

 

All user input, incl. when handled by the mentioned SOAP links, will pass a strict data validation in all our software solutions. Regardless of the used Operating System, the Standard Application running on this system or an individually programmed software security starts and ends with a fundamental validation of entered data. Validation has to take place on your server, respectively in code running on your server. A client based validation, i.e. in Javascript is not suitable.

 

Our Workflow and Groupware solutions are often - we confess - inspired by experiences with Lotus Domino and Notes.

 

When developing individual solutions we often choose a pragmatic approach - a lot of our solutions are about data analysis which can be realised efficiently by use of MS Office Applications (MS Access or MS Excel) plus VB for Applications.

Using Scripts for maintaining servers and server tasks is common practice for us - we use them maintaining our own servers.

 

Additionally, we use software from partners or Open Source Providers for special tasks, i.e. a modern Email solution from Ipswitch. Social Networking related projects are implemented using Drupal which additionally is a comprehensive Content Management System. eCommerce applications are preferrably based on Magento - the most comprehensive but cost effective shop system available, now.
