Frontwebsite stands for a Personalised Website of a Sales Partner in VNet Webservices.
Normally every Frontwebsite contains the following functions:
- Start page
- Option to select the language of the site
- External Shop
- Registration form for new Partners
- Contact
- Imprint
- FAQ
- News
- Link to VNet-Office
You, as the company, will receive a similar website usually. This site will have less functionality. Upon request we can create a company page completely different from all Sales Partners´ sites - different by design as well as content. Usually you just wish that the company site does not
since this should happen on the partner sites, only.
Frontwebsites will be created by digital-ecom GmbH for you individually. This is part of the VNet Webservices licence.
Frontwebsites can be created three ways giving you greatest flexibility:
- Standard - digital-ecom creates the site design and inserts content according to your advice into the Translator. Sites will be created static and are prepared for adaption to other languages and markets. Translations are made by yourself - we will give a Translator access to the required tools. This method assures that all pages are up to date and display exactly the content you wanted and approved.
- Extended - digital-ecom GmbH creates the design of your site and enters all content in our WebAdmin. We will prepare your website in one language - additional languages will be added by yourself using the WebAdmin. Your main benefit is increased flexibility - you can add new pages to your website without having to contact us or other webdesigners. Additionally you can easily add new languages. The only thing to assure is having all content ready before this language is selectable. Disadvantage is the more complex control mechanismn about published languages as well as their content.
- Independent - digital-ecom GmbH supplies a description of its VNet Webservices SOAP link. You, or your webdesigner, create your website completely on your own. You use the given SOAP links in order to communicate with VNet Back-Office respectively the database behind. The offered SOAP link allows using all functions of a Frontwebsite without depending on us.
SOAP Link
The SOAP link entitles you to use all functions of the frontwebsite without depending on us or our programming. You can work together with the webdesigner of your choice, establish your wanted design but still use standard functions.
The SOAP Link supports the following tasks:
- External Shop
- Contact Management
- Registration of new Sales Partners
- Imprint
- Company Details
- FAQ
- News
- Display of standard PDF documents (AGB, Marketing Plan, Company Philosophie)
All data submitted via the SOAP Link will be strictly validated on server side.
The SOAP documentation lists example code for every service (ASP).
A Standard implementation will take place using our SOAP Link. Implementation of Extended requires a mix of Standard implementation and adapted code - this might cause extra burden. Implementation Independent is completely in your hands - and commonly the most cost effective solution.
